This is achieved by the naturalFLEXMOTION® sole architecture. It combines the "Natural Running" concept with the newest safety shoe technology. The shaft of the S1P safety shoe with ESD characterictics has been produced with support of the FUSE.TEC® technology. Hereby, reinforcing elements are welded seamlessly on the basis textile material. Thus, strongly-demanded areas like flex zones do not need seams at all. The shoe becomes more flexible, more durable and has a perfect fit. The inserted evercushion® BA footbed made of foam with open pores takes liquid away from the foot and provides together with the breathable BreathActive functional lining a comfortable foot climate during the whole day. Our ALBATROS® XTS Sole is made out of a special rubber compound. Therefore, it is particulary durable, absorption-active, heat-resistant up to 300°C (HRO) and slip-resistant (SRC). The differently formed and especially arranged profile elements offer support and surefootedness on every ground and have self-cleaning properties. Furthermore, the sole is oil and fuel resistant as well as antistatic.
EN ISO 20345:2011 Safety footwear with toe caps tested for protection against 200 Joules impact and 15.000 Newton compression. Basic requirements e.g. concerning tear strength and water-repellent properties of the upper as well as substance, tear strength, abrasion resistance, resistance to flex cracking and oil resistance of the outsole. Can be with open seat region. (Safety Basic – SB)
Additionally to the basic requirements closed heel area, antistatic, energy absorption of the heel area, fuel and oil-resistant outsole. (S1)
Additionally with water-repellent properties of the upper. (S2)
Additionally with penetration resistant midsole and cleated outsole.
